Quick Tips

If you do not have much time and need answers fast, quick read this page.

While we can't guarantee your mail or payment will go through using these instructions, you should have a pretty good shot.

If you are planning on sending mail or money to an offender, do the following:

Sending Offender Mail

In the top left corner of the envelope, where the return address goes write the following:

Sender First Name Sender Last Name
  Sender Street Address
Sender City, State, and Zip Code

In the addressee area of the envelope, write the following:

Offender First Name Offender Last Name Offender Number
Facility where offender is living at
  PO BOX of facility
City, State, Zip Code of Facility

Please print all of this information clearly so it can be read by anyone.

You generally should not send any type of money with offender correspondence. Polaroid Pictures, any type of electronic or popup cards, metal objects, etc. should not be sent. Most facilities have a PO Box, and it should be used for correspondence. If you can't find a PO Box, then put a street address in there.

Electronic Payment Options

Unless you have received payment information from the offender, you should send a postal money order using the directions above. A lot of mistakes can happen with electronic payments, unless you have the correct information.

Western Union Quick Collect

A lot of places take Western Union Quick Collect, but you will need the following information:

  IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

  Pay To:
  Code City:
  Code State:
  Account Number:
  Attention:

If you don't have this information, you should probably mail a postal money order instead.

Jpay

A lot of places take Jpay, and they may actually be able to help you, even if you don't have too much info, but again, its probably best to send a postal money order.
