Deposit Slips

You can obtain deposit slips by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope to the inmate accounts office. This will help ensure that funds are deposited into the correct account.

Personal Delivery

The inmate accounts office maintains "window hours", this would seem to indicate you can drop off a deposit in person. The hours are M-F 9:00-11:00 AM and 1:00-3:00 PM. You may want to call first to make sure. They are located at: John O. Pastore Government Center at 51 West Road, Cranston, RI 02920.

Unified Facility

This is a UNIFIED facility. That means that this facility houses pre-trial detainees as well as convicted offenders. A pre-trial detainee is one who has not had the benefit of a trial to address the charges filed against him or her. In the United States, one is presumed innocent until proven guilty. A convicted offender has had the opportunity for a trial or other process of the criminal justice system, and is now serving a sentence in the Department of Corrections.
